Ghana: Maternal Health Survey Key Findings

According to the website, “the 2017 Ghana Maternal Health Survey (GMHS) is designed to provide data for monitoring the maternal health situation in Ghana; the objective of the survey was to provide reliable estimates of fertility levels and preferences, family planning methods, pregnancy and postnatal care, abortion, miscarriage, marriage and sexual activity, and maternal mortality that can be used by programme managers and policymakers to evaluate and improve existing maternal health programmes.”
