BABY BOX 

This project aims to improve the health and survival of low-birthweight babies by helping families continue Kangaroo Care (KC) at home after leaving the hospital. It will provide mothers with peer support and a Baby Box containing items that make KC easier and safer, then follow families to see whether these supports increase KC practices such as skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding. If effective, this approach could guide future health programs and policies to better support families in Ghana and other communities worldwide.
